Children missing due to the Internal Armed Conflict in Guatemala

The ALL FOR THE REUNION Program began on May 20, 1999. During 25 years, the program has carried out 540 reunions of children who disappeared due to the Internal Armed Conflict. There are more than 1,000 cases of missing people documented. We work with relatives from twelve different Mayan ethnic groups (ixil, K'iche', Uspanteko, Achi', Q'eqchi', Pocomchi', Q'anjob'al, Mam, Chuj, Awakateco, Ch'orti' and Kaqchikel) in addition of ladino population.

GUATEMALAN LEAGUE OF MENTAL HYGIENE
The Guatemalan League of Mental Hygiene is a private, non-profit and non-governmental institution, founded on March 25, 1952, within the framework of the "October Revolution" and its fundamental objective is the prevention of factors that affect the mental health of the Guatemalans, as well as the attention and promotion of it. In 2024, we celebrate 72 years of promoting and caring for the MENTAL HEALTH of Guatemalans.
